WELCOME TO FUNCTIONAL MEDICINE!
Congratulations on taking the first step towards taking your life back! Feeling Better, Looking Better, and Being Better.
Thank you for your interest and welcome to our practice! Our specialty is Functional Medicine. This is the practice of combining traditional medical treatments with complementary methods to achieve total body health. We strive to normalize cellular chemistry by supplementing the necessary nutrients the body needs to function optimally. After testing, we use a combination of diet, nutritional supplements, and medication necessary to promote health and healing.
We treat patients of all ages offering biological remedies for chronic health problems such as allergies, autism, ADHD, and other developmental problems in children, chronic fatigue syndrome, fibromyalgia, hormone imbalances in males and females, depression, anxiety, and diseases of the bowel to name a few. Further, nutritional support is given to cancer patients undergoing or following chemotherapy and/or radiation.
Laboratory testing is done for nutritional status, food and inhalant allergies, hormone levels, urine organic acids, stool analysis, parasitology, and heavy metal toxicity screens.
Consultation fees for the initial visit depend on the amount of time spent with the practitioners. Costs for laboratory tests are additional and depend on the type and number of tests ordered. Charges are payable at the time of service. We do not accept insurance plans, but we will provide you with the forms you need to file your own claims. Dr. Cave is not a Medicare or Medicaid provider.
